"Yesterday, on the first day of Eid, trash decreased into 1,200 tons," he said, Monday (6/26).

He explained the declining number of trash volume is caused by reduced economic and trade activities in City during homecoming season.

"Many Jakartans conducted homecoming. Thus there are not many waste disposal activities," he expressed.

Nevertheless, he ensures all cleaning personnel, from Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) to Water Cleaning Management Unit (UPK) personnel to standby during homecoming season.
